Eiyass Albeiruti, MD
Dr. Albeiruti is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of cataracts and glaucoma. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2004, and he subsequently completed his ophthalmology training at Henry Ford Hospital, where he was chosen to serve as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University.
Following his training, Dr. Albeiruti joined the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he practiced and taught in the ophthalmology department at the Eye and Ear Institute. After several years there, he decided to bring his experience and skills back home to Grand Rapids.
Dr. Albeiruti is a skilled surgeon who uses the latest techniques and technologies to treat cataracts and glaucoma as well as other eye conditions, including in-office laser procedures. He takes pride in being able to offer his patients multiple treatment options and tailor them to their needs.
During his free time, Dr. Albeiruti enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, as well as rooting for his favorite sports teams!
